Patriots Cove serves veterans, first responders, caregivers, and their families through outdoor experiences that include fly fishing, bass fishing, whitetail and turkey hunts, and more. “I can not put into words what a week at this place meant to me. I have never felt so wanted anywhere in my life. Everyone that helps there went so far out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything that I needed at all times. It is very obvious that Mr and Mrs swires put their blood, sweat and tears into making this place as perfect as it can be for veterans, first responders and caregivers. They picked the perfect group of people to mentor and volunteer their time and money to give me such a memorable experience. We were fed so much amazing food from the early morning before the hunt to the time we went to bed. I cannot wait to get back up there for any other event that I’m able to. “I was very fortunate to be a participant in Patriots Cove, first hunt! What an experience it was. It was very evident the amount of work that was put in to make this a successful event. Jeff Swire, and the generous land owners hit a home run 10 times over. Between putting in custom blinds that allowed anyone the opportunity to hunt and the food plots that kept the critters in the area it could not have been any better.

I was to thank Steve Kaminstein whose land I hunted for all but one hunt! I was able to watch a lot of deer and harvest a nice doe. Unfortunately the 8 point had other ideas and chose to turn in the wrong direction.

Thanks again to all who had a hand in making this event successful from the mentors, to the land owners, and the many others I am sure I have forgotten to mention.

I look forward to next years event where I will have the opportunity to serve as a mentor!”

“An amazing slice of heaven here on Earth. Race of mind and body. Patriot’s Cove took care of everything at the Inaugural event today even in the mist of still building the facility and trails. “Patriots Cove is the New heaven in Pennsylvania. I attend Fish for the Fallen this past weekend on Saturday 4/14/2018, and I didn’t want to leave. Patriots Cove is everything I been dreaming about and I’m so happy. That one of my brothers in the military has been able to fulfill his dreams and share it with his military family. Patriots Cove is a beautiful place were you could fish or just relax by the river and listen to the wildlife play in the woods.”
